About us:
A group of about 35, mainly older adults from the Cookridge area, meet fortnightly on a Sunday morning for worship and to share conversation and refreshments. Although we do not have a Crèche or Junior Church there are always activities, toys and books provided for children.
Sunday Worship usually follows a traditional Methodist pattern and we benefit from a range of preachers and leaders of worship from across the Leeds South and West Circuit. We have services geared to all ages, meeting the needs of our younger members. These are usually once a quarter.
Our community has a strong family feel and we aim to welcome and include all who come. Our building is very important in our life together, as it enables us to host a thriving pre-school and a wide variety of community groups, as well as offering opportunities for worship. We believe that relationship between individuals, within our community and with God is key to a flourishing society, where we can all grow.
