Wesley Road Chapel

About us: Wesley Road is situated adjacent to Town Street, the main shopping area in Armley. It came into being in 1987 following a merger of Methodist, Baptist and United Reform churches in Armley.
The current church is the 4th on this site where the original Methodist Wesleyan chapel stood and John Wesley once preached.

Our worship is enriched through the different traditions and histories of the 3 denominations. Worship is warm and meaningful and we continue to try new ventures as we seek to serve our community through outreach.

The Wesley Road Resource Centre offers a rich mix of theology, liturgy and lectionary resources to assist preacher and leaders of worship & the Circuit Office is also situation in our premises

Regular Activities:

  • Coffee Morning each Saturday,
  • Keep Fit, Luncheon Club,
  • Bible Study & Fellowship Group,
  • Coffee Slot Worship,
  • The Wesley Road Guild,
  • Film Club,
  • Reading Group,
  • Wesley Road Resource Centre
